By booking a lesson with Scooterlesson, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Safety First
Safety is our highest priority. Our instructors will guide you throughout the lesson and teach you how to ride safely in Bali’s traffic.
You are expected to follow your instructor’s instructions at all times. Please stay relaxed, ride at a comfortable speed, and never ride beyond your ability.
More than 99.5% of our lessons are accident-free. Most incidents happen when a rider panics, rides too fast, or does not follow the instructor’s guidance.
2. Scooter Damage
If you damage a Scooterlesson scooter during the lesson, you will generally not be charged for the repair of our scooter.
However, if you damage another person’s vehicle or property, you are responsible for the resulting costs. For example, damage to a car may cost around IDR 1–4 million or more, depending on the extent of the damage.
3. Rider Responsibility
You are responsible for riding safely and following the instructions given by your instructor.
You must not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or participate in the lesson if you are unable to ride safely.
If the instructor believes that continuing the lesson would be unsafe, the instructor may stop or modify the lesson.
4. Weather and Road Conditions
For safety reasons, Scooterlesson may postpone, shorten, modify, or cancel a lesson if weather or road conditions make riding unsafe.
We will always try to find the best alternative, such as changing the lesson time or rescheduling the lesson.
5. Booking and Payment
Please provide accurate information when making your booking, including your name, contact details, preferred date and time, and location.
Payment must be made according to the payment method and instructions provided at the time of booking.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson, please contact us as early as possible.
Rescheduling is subject to instructor availability.
If you arrive late, the lesson may need to finish at the originally scheduled end time, depending on the instructor’s availability.
7. Instructor Assignment
Scooterlesson will assign an instructor based on availability, location, schedule, and other operational considerations.
We cannot always guarantee a specific instructor unless this has been confirmed with you in advance.
8. Riding Ability and Legal Requirements
Scooterlesson provides riding instruction and safety guidance. The lesson does not replace any licence, permit, or legal requirement needed to ride legally on public roads.
9. Personal Belongings and Personal Responsibility
Please take care of your personal belongings during the lesson.
Scooterlesson is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings unless caused directly by our negligence.
